Recycled Cotton

After seeing the recycled cotton on the Martha Stewart show about yarn and knitting, I was intriqued – but I didn’t want to buy the Lion Brand featured on the show because I really don’t like buying yarns sight unseen.

But I went over to Hamden to pick up a gift after the Farmer’s Market Today and what did Lovely Yarns have but some gorgeous green recycled cotton. Knit One Crochet Too’s 2nd Time Cotton has a really great feel to it. Here’s a picture of the yarn:

I’m really excited about knitting into something ‘green’ (yes that was in fact three, maybe even four, puns in one).

Each skein has 180 yards so I’m thinking I could do a market bag or dishclothe. For now, it’s going to sit in one of the many baskets of yarn. I’m excited to see how it knits up.
